Things We Should Tell Our Dads More Often

Not all fathers are the same, that’s a given fact.  However, for those who are doing an excellent job at being a Dad, it is our duty as their children to thank them for it. Because without them we won’t be here, that’s why. No seriously, we need to give them more credit for the things they have done and are still doing for us. They won’t be here forever, that’s why we need to start showing them how much they mean to us.

And on that note, we listed some of the things that we should tell our dads more often. We get that you will not agree with all of them, and that’s okay. What matters is that we can show them how important they are.

“Thank You For The Unconditional Love”

Dad, thank you for loving me even though I’m a huge pain in the ass sometimes. Honestly, I know I can be a pretty handful at times so thank you so much for putting up with everything I made you go through. I have a lot of flaws, and you loved me for all of them. So thank you so much. I love you.

“I Appreciate All Of The Things You Do”

You are imperfect, but I love you nonetheless. We both know that you don’t always make the best decisions, and that’s okay because you always had my best interest at heart. I want you to know that I appreciate everything about you and all that you do. Thank you for always being there, for providing me with all the things I need, and for being a great husband to mom.  Thank you for everything.

“You Are A Great Role Model”

Thank you for teaching me great life lessons. You’re someone whom I aspire to be like someday. You’re kind, respectful, loving, and caring towards people around you. You’re not afraid to show vulnerability, and you treat women with respect. You are also a trustworthy friend.  You taught me what it’s like to be a well-rounded man. And I will look up at you for as long as I live.

“Thank You For Working Hard Just To Give Us What We Need”

You worked every day just to produce enough money to settle the bills and buy us what we need. You’re not given enough credit for it so I would like to take this moment and let you know that I value your hard work. Even if I don’t say it all the time, I will have you know that I appreciate you working hard to provide for us. You’re an awesome dad, always remember that.

We should let our dads know how much we admire them, and these are just some of the things we could say to make them feel that. Now, think of all the things you want to tell or use any of the things we listed here and tell it to your Dad. You will make his day for sure.
